Her lifelong passion for helping others led her to specialize in early childhood education, with a focus on child development and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Bhoomija’s approach is grounded in empathy, safety, and collaboration. She integrates psychoeducation, scaffolding strategies, and a strong therapeutic alliance to support individuals navigating life’s challenges. Whether working with children, teenagers, adults, or families, Bhoomija creates a respectful, nonjudgmental space where healing and growth can thrive.
Bhoomija completed her Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education. She is currently completing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) at Yorkville University, and is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).
She has joined Best Behaviour to complete her MACP practicum, under the supervision of our psychotherapy team, and is providing low-cost psychotherapy services in Waterloo and virtually until April 2026.

As a psychotherapist, Amanda is excited to learn and grow her skills to better support children with disabilities and their families. During her time as a Communication Disorders Assistant and ABA Therapist, she supported many children and their caregivers in hospital, home, and community settings. She enjoyed being able to work with both youth and adults to build skills, and has always found herself drawn to roles that allow her to explore the art of teaching. Candice takes an eclectic approach to intervention, integrating various evidence-based theories to support individuals on their learning and healing journey. She is excited to bring her personalized approach to psychotherapy, and strives to provide compassionate, person-centred care.
